Mission Ignition is an awesome opportunity for children to learn about missions! The date for this year's conference is Saturday, March 5 in OKC. The cost is $10 per person. We will be leaving the church at 8 AM!!!!

Students! WinterJam is Saturday, March 12 at The Chesapeake Energy Center in OKC! The cost and time will be announced soon. The concert starts at 5:45 PM. We will be back around Midnight. You will also need $ for any snacks and souvenirs you wish to purchase at the concert. Make plans to join us!
Hippity Hop! The children's ministry will be hunting Easter Eggs on Saturday, March 26 at 10 AM. We will be meeting at the large pavilion on the back side of Meeker Lake.

Let's Celebrate! The Ministerial Alliance is hosting our annual Easter Community Service on Sunday, March 27 @ 7 AM. It will be held at Mammoth Baptist Church. We will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus together! Then, we will get together for breakfast! Let's rejoice and worship Jesus together!!!
Join us for three days of excitement from 9 AM to 2 PM!!! It all starts Monday morning, June 6th through June 8th, 2016!!!!
The ages are Pre-K through 6th grades!

Hey Students! We are going to Super Summer Week 3 this year!!! The dates for this year's camp are June 20-24, 2016!!! Registration will begin soon. The cost is $195 for students. Registration ends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Interviews will be concluded no later than April 24, 2016. Get ready for some great student leadership training at OBU!
Children's Camp will be at the Wentz Camp in Ponca City on July 5-7 2016. Children's Camp is for children who have completed 4th through 6th grades.The cost is TBA.
There will be a parent/camper meeting on Sunday, June 26th in the sanctuary.

The dates for this year's Falls Creek are July 25-30, 2016!!!!
We will be staying in the OKC Dickson Baptist cabin once again!
The theme for this year's camp is ONE! It is based on Isaiah 45:22. "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other."
Our speaker will be Stuart Henslee and our worship leader will be Matt Roberson. It's going to be an awesome week of camp!!!!

Our church is going on a mission trip to Panama in November 2016.
The total cost of the trip is $1,850 (with some exclusions).
The $1,850 cost includes: Airfare, food (except lunch), lodging, interpreter, supplies we may need, and any transportation fees within the country. This does NOT include any souvenirs or extra snacks you wish to purchase. It also does not include the cost of your passport or any medical shots that may be required.
There is a $200 deposit due in April 2016. This reserves your ticket and lodging.
Another $500 toward the trip will be due in May 2016. This will purchase your ticket and finalize lodging.
The balance of $1,150 will be due 2 weeks before the trip (November 2016).
Mission Trip Training Sessions will be required in order to go to Panama.
You must be at least 18 years old or be accompanied by at least one parent to be eligible to go.
All participants must adhere to the Southern Baptist Faith and Message.
You will need to be able to clearly share your testimony, learn some essential Spanish phrases, and learn about the culture of Panama. You will be equipped to do the work God has called you to do during the required training sessions.
You will need a current U.S. passport and any required medical shots in order to travel out of the United States. Apply as soon as possible for your passport (if you don't already have one. Passports sometimes take several weeks to process). The cost for a passport is $110. If you would prefer a passport card, it is $30.

You will also need an original birth certificate to send in with your passport application.
You will also need to have a passport photo made to send in with your application. Several local businesses offer passport photo services. Just type in "passport photo Shawnee, OK" into your browser and choose a location near you. Costs for a passport photo start around $8 and up, depending on where you choose to have them made.

We will tailor our trip according to the gifts and talents of our particular group that is going. This may include, but is not limited to: prayer walking, door-to-door evangelism, women's ministry, back yard Bible clubs, VBS, painting, visiting schools, construction, or anything else the Lord allows us to do.
We urge you to pray and see if God is calling you to share the gospel with those in Panama. Even if you are not called to go, you might be called to help support this mission by giving and praying for those who go!
